Onboarding AI into the team: Why context makes all the difference
Our workshop at the FARBEBLAU agency kicked off with a highly inspiring keynote presentation on the current state of AI. Together, we asked ourselves: Where do we stand today? What opportunities are available to us? How are we already working with AI – and what next steps do we want to take together?
For me, as the agency owner, it’s important not to shape this development on my own, but to work with the whole team to determine the approaches to working with AI that suit us best. We’re a diverse group, spanning different generations and bringing different personal strengths to the table. It gives me a sense of direction to have colleagues of my own age by my side, whilst at the same time listening to the younger voices and consciously making space for them.
We were soon in the midst of a lively discussion: What opportunities does AI open up for our work? Where can we become more efficient, broaden our horizons and work more agilely and innovatively for our clients – whilst still remaining ‘authentic’?
By ‘authentic’, we mean our USP as a boutique agency. We aim to provide tailored support to companies in brand strategy and brand management, whilst remaining approachable, visible and always in tune with the latest trends. At the same time, we want to use AI responsibly – in a professional, data-driven and data-protective manner. It’s not about simply accepting results, but actively helping to shape the process: through intelligent prompting, critical questioning and the commitment to developing not just the first result, but the right one for the brand or company in question.

The key takeaway from our workshop can be summed up in three words: Context. Context. Context
Context is what truly sets us apart. That is precisely why we are so well positioned as a team. On the one hand, there is the context of our seniority – many years’ experience in companies and agencies, in-depth client consultancy and support for a wide variety of brands and projects. And then there is the context of our younger colleagues, who, as digital natives, have grown up with dual study programmes and a natural confidence in using digital technologies.
This combination is our strength: experience meets curiosity, strategic depth meets digital fluency. Without fear of being replaced, but with the courage to develop our approach to brand strategy in a forward-looking way.
We are open-minded, curious and look forward to the future with excitement. Above all, however, we want to play an active role in shaping it.
